This large 6-drawer dresser was the perfect candidate for a Pottery Barn Sausalito–inspired transformation—but it came with its share of challenges. The veneer was in rough shape, and repairing it became a project all its own. Hours upon hours went into splicing in new pieces of veneer, gluing, clamping, and repeating that process until every damaged area was repaired. Once the structure was sound, it was time for the real work: stripping every single inch of the piece and then sanding it multip
