African Trypanosomiasis, also known as 'sleeping sickness', is caused by microscopic parasites and is transmitted by the tsetse fly in parts of rural Africa. In Guinea, a team of scientists are taking samples from people’s skin to see if that’s where the parasites are also hiding.
