Joslyn's 3-week-old tufted deer fawn (born on January 4) is growing strong and healthy! He is described as being curious, spunky and brave. In addition to drinking milk daily, the fawn's care team is introducing him to solid foods by mixing it with his formula to entice him to taste it. The little fawn is being hand-raised by the Animal Care team due to some complications after his birth. Generally, breeding season for tufted deer is in the fall, and babies are expected to be born in the spring.
