Three steel girders were installed from from the 25th of January up to today January 28, 2026 for NLEX 8.2 Section 1A, spanning Pier 7 to Pier 8. The girders were lifted and positioned under controlled conditions, as this span above the Tullahan River. A temporary steel bridge erected over the river functioned as the launching and erection platform for the operation. The steel girders were imported from Vietnam and fabricated by Vinh Hung JSC.
