Our founder was born on this day, October 21, 120 years ago. Mads Clausen was a farmer’s son, but his fascination with technology, inspired by his great-grandfather's craftsmanship, led him to become an engineer. Mads Clausen engineered his first valve in 1932, and by the summer of 1933, he had established Danfoss from his childhood bedroom. This marked the start of a legacy. He developed Danfoss from a local enterprise into a global technology leader and partner for innovative, competitive, and
