Documenting cemeteries, we frequently come across abandoned churches—most in major disrepair, often vandalized. But this one was a surprising find. The front doors were chained shut many years ago, the power meter removed, and judging by the rust on the padlock, no one has stepped inside in a very long time. Yet, through the window, the sanctuary remains well-preserved, as if waiting for that Sunday when worshippers will once again walk through the doors. #LostInTime #ChurchesOfThePast #Southern
