The Spooky Men's Chorale began back at the turn of the century. Choir master (or 'spookmeister') Stephen Taberner was living in the Blue Mountains in NSW and uncovered a unruly gang of blokes who could sing a bit. Now, 16 years on they’re only slightly less unruly - and they sing magnificently! Earlier this week they thoroughly charmed The Mix with this performance of 'Crossing the Bar'.
