Today is the feast day of Saint Malachi. The Holy Prophet Malachi was the last Old Testament prophet. His name means “My Messenger.” He foretold the coming of Saint John the Baptist, Christ as the Messiah, and the Last Judgement. He rebuked Israel for their corruption of the practices of Judaism that were happening during this time. As an Orthodox Jew who converted to Eastern Orthodox Christianity, I can see that Malachi was sent by God to enlighten us Jews. The Jewish people chose to not listen
