COMMUTE ISSUES: Multiple Long Island Rail Road branches are seeing delays and cancellations Wednesday due to switch and equipment issues after Sunday’s storm and ongoing freezing temperatures. Although the LIRR returned to a normal schedule yesterday, it couldn’t keep up with signal, switch and equipment problems.
