While Alon Ohel was being held hostage in Gaza, the cast of Israel’s version of SNL, Eretz Nehederet, recorded “Shemesh” with Hanan Ben-Ari which I posted here. It was one of many musical tributes for Alon, a gifted pianist who was reported by released hostages to be seen playing piano “in the air” while in captivity. Thank Gd he is home and he is free.
