I would recommend having your volume up for this one! Last weekends 'Giants of Steam' Gala at the Bluebell Railway, saw a gathering of four 21st century new build steam locomotives. All 80 original Grange class locomotives were scrapped, so the 6880 Betton Grange Society Ltd decided to build a new locomotive, to fill an important gap in Great Western history. 6880 "Betton Grange" was completed in 2024, and is seen here making a very noisy departure away from Horsted Keynes yesterday morning. #st
