The funding round was co-led by KHP Ventures, affiliated with King’s Health Partners in London, and Cedars-Sinai Intellectual Property Co. in California, affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the largest nonprofit academic medical centres in the US – as well as a $1.5m grant from the National Institute for Health and Care Research.

New Emirates lounge ‘takes off’ at Stansted
Emirates has opened the doors to its new lounge at London Stansted Airport. The airline has invested more than £4 million to design a spacious 900-square-metre lounge that can accommodate up to 125 guests, including First and Business Class customers, as well as Emirates Skywards members.

Analysis from its threat intelligence team shows that during Black Friday week (November 25-29) attempted Christmas-themed phishing attacks leapt 327 per cent globally.
