The surface go 4 mini tablet doesn’t use a core series processor because it’s designed to be for purposes which do not include performance, they don’t sell that product to consumers because it will certainly perform like trash even when compared to a chromebook that’s similarly priced.

Haven't used the go 4, but on the surface pro side of things Microsoft provide a recovery image, which is a very clean relatively bloat free version of Windows 11 (or 10) without a load of junk. (Or at least I remember it being that way the last time I used it) …

Dec 2, 2023 · But the surface go 4 is much much repairable for longevity sake which is a good thing. The surface go 4 does have a microsdxc card reader for extra storage. The surface pro 7 plus uses SSD and Surface go 4 uses the whole UFS DRIVE no ssd. The Surface pro 7 plus has LTE though that's only on the core i5 model not the version i am comparing to.

Upon researching, I happened to find only two devices that satisfy my requirements and that is the Surface Go 3 and Surface Pro X. But from the reviews and my personal experience in a Microsoft store, I found its performance underwhelming even for i3 and 8 gig RAM.

Jan 22, 2024 · I have the Go 4 and it was slower than I expected. For video, the Go 4 really struggles with YouTube, mainly on the CPU. As soon as I open a video, the CPU usage would jump straight to 100%. Default video resolution is 720p. If I were to change it to 4k, the video would still play, but the Go 4 would be really unresponsive.

Nov 26, 2023 · The Surface go 4 has the new quad core Intel Processor N200 it is 80 percent faster than the surface go 3 and 4.5x faster than 2018 Surface Go. I have the surface go 1 and it was just really slow and sluggish it struggle when doing everyday tasks.

1)how does battery life on surface go 4 compare to surface go 3 or surface go 2? From what I have seen, surface go 2 or surface go 3 in best scenario had about 8 hours of non stop local video playback and about 6-7 hours of "regular" browsing internet, light use. And all that was when screen brightness about 150 nits, so below "average" brightness.
