Doman surprisingly entered the transfer portal with a year left and on Friday, he became the first outgoing Wolverine to select his transfer destination, with the announcement that he would be heading to Florida. Former Michigan punter is currently expected to transfer to Florida, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @cbssports / @247sports.

According to On3 Sports' Pete Nakos, the Wolverines' former starting punter has signed with the Florida Gators. Doman entered the portal back on Dec. 6 after spending each of the first four years of his collegiate career in Ann Arbor. He'll have one season of eligibility remaining in Gainesville.

The Florida Gators have moved fast to find a replacement for senior punter Jeremy Crawshaw. They quickly identified their top target in the transfer portal and arranged for him to officially visit this week.
