A grenade is missing from the scene of an explosion that killed three Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies. That's according to Los Angeles County Robert Luna, who spoke at a Friday news conference.

A grenade is missing from the scene of an explosion at a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department training facility.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna announced that one of the two grenades transported to the Biscailuz Center Training Academy prior to a deadly explosion remains unaccounted for.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives has taken over the investigation to find the grenade.
