Flash flooding could happen at any moment from the storm in the Knoxville area, the National Weather Service has warned.

An updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 5:43 p.m. in effect until 8 p.m. for Baker and Malheur counties.

A flash flood watch has been issued across portions of New Mexico on Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The watch is expected to expire at 10 p.m. on Tuesday. Thunderstorms moving slowly north with rainfall rates of one to two inches per hour are expected.
