St. John’s on Monday announced the signing of guard Joson Sanon, who transferred from Arizona State after a promising freshman season.

St. John’s coach Rick Pitino already has been busy replenishing his roster in the transfer portal. Coming off its most successful season in decades, the school announced two significant signings — former Arizona State guard Joson Sanon and ex-Providence forward Bryce Hopkins.
