New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. Carr, who was previously considered doubtful to play, has a left hand injury and was placed in concussion protocol in the week leading up to the game.

The Saints also activated defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon off the physically unable to perform list and placed linebacker D’Marco Jackson (ankle) on injured reserve. Kpassagnon will make his season debut after tearing his Achilles in April.
