Emergency crews were called to Columbus Circle on Friday morning after a window-washing rig became disabled and swung in the wind high above the street. The incident happened around 10am at the north tower of the Deutsche Bank Center,

High winds caused an unsecured scaffold with window washers to swing on a high-rise, leading to a rescue operation.

First responders were called to 25 Columbus Circle about 9:47 a.m. after receiving a 911 call about the window washers trapped on the side of the building by the 78th floor.
