Stanley is recalling roughly 2.6 million of its switchback and trigger action stainless steel travel mugs sold in the U.S. because of a potential burn hazard.

Stanley is recalling more than two and a half million of its mugs after several people have said they have burned themselves because of a defect in the lid.

Stanley, which also makes trendy tumblers that are wildly popular on social media, urged consumers to contact them for replacement lids.
