The second game of a doubleheader between the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles was postponed because of a rain and rescheduled as part of a day-night twin-bill on Saturday.

BOSTON — Game 1 of the Red Sox and Orioles’ doubleheader Saturday will not start on time due to rain. The tarp was just removed from the field. A new start time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Game 1 initially was scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Game 2 is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

It's turning into quite the annoying, rainy weekend for the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles. The AL East rivals were scheduled to play a split doubleheader on Friday. They got the first game in, a 19-run output by the Red Sox (13 in the eighth inning) leading to a Boston win.
