A Winter Storm Watch now covers the entire Atlanta metro area, moving in from the east.

Bad weather postponed or canceled many anti-ICE protests in metro Atlanta on Saturday, but a few protestors on both sides of the issue turned up anyway.

A winter storm moving into north and central Georgia is prompting new warnings from the National Weather Service. An Ice Storm Warning has been issued for much of the area, including metro Atlanta.

A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on I-75 southbound. Police said the driver who hit the teen stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. Investigators have not yet determined why the teenager was on the interstate at 9 p.m.

Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead early Saturday morning. Officers in the area of Deering Road and Northside Drive said they head gunshots around 3:15 a.m. They were later flagged down about a report of a person shot near another street.
