Amorim, Manchester United

Ruben Amorim and Gary Neville do not see eye-to-eye on what Manchester United ’s next transfer priority should be. Man Utd, despite a lowly 15th-placed Premier League finish and Europa League final defeat last season, have spent heavily in the summer transfer window thus far.
Bayındır was voted Player of the Match in an FA Cup third round victory over Arsenal last January, saving a Martin Ødegaard penalty in normal time before producing more spot-kick heroics in the subsequent shootout. Amorim hailed him as “our hero” that night and insisted that he remained “unbelievable” on Sunday.
A lone Riccardo Calafiori goal, after 13 minutes, is all that split the two teams at Old Trafford in their first Premier League match of the season. Amorim told Sky Sports afterwards that United "were the better team," and "clearly deserved a different result."
The Red Devils' tally of shots was their most in a Premier League match against Arsenal since their 8-2 triumph over them in August 2011 (25). But the decisive moment in the contest came when Bayindir failed to deal with Declan Rice's teasing corner, allowing Calafiori to nod the ball home on the line.
