Israeli and US negotiators have decided to leave Gaza ceasefire talks in Qatar's capital Doha, with Washington accusing Hamas of not "acting in good faith".

The U.S. has withdrawn from Doha ceasefire talks after Hamas' response showed a "lack of desire" for an agreement. Israel also pulled negotiators amid escalating demands.

Hamas has rejected a 60-day Gaza ceasefire proposal, a senior official in Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office told reporters Saturday.

Talks to end the war in Gaza have collapsed, bringing to an end the longest round of negotiations since the war started in October 2023.

Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is set to meet with Israeli and Qatari officials as the Trump administration works to secure a deal to end the war in Gaza.

The State of Qatar has reiterated its rejection of the use of food and the starvation of civilians as a weapon of war, calling on the international community to compel Israel

"The flexibility and constructive approach shown by Israel in the negotiations are not matched by Hamas,” the official said. Israel has made "significant strides" in its efforts to reach a hostage deal;
