Virat Kohli has become the third batsman to reach the 14,000-run mark in ODI cricket, after Sachin Tendulkar (18,426) and Kumar Sangakkara (14,234). He also became the quickest to achieve the milestone as he reached the figure in 287 innings, which is 63 lesser than Sachin Tendulkar (350 innings) and 91 lesser than Kumar Sangakkara (378 innings).

Kohli is now the third batter and the second Indian, after cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, to achieve this monumental feat.
