At 2:24 p.m. on Tuesday, the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued a flood advisory in effect until 5:30 p.m. The advisory is for Beaufort, Martin and Pitt counties.

On Monday at 1:29 a.m. the NWS Wilmington NC released an updated flood watch in effect until 6 p.m. The watch is for Inland New Hanover, Coastal New Hanover, Inland Brunswick and Coastal Brunswick as well as Columbus County.
