Watches and warnings: A tropical storm watch has been issued from South Carolina’s Edisto Beach to Little River Inlet. This menas tropical storm conditions are possible in the next 48 hours.

The 5 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2025, tropics advisory from the National Hurricane Center in Miami shows a tropical depression hovering off the northeast coast of Florida and the coast of South Carolina.

The storm will head towards South Carolina over the weekend, expected to make landfall Sunday as a low-end tropical storm.
