Alaska Airlines will offer two new Asia routes next year, as it begins the process of combining its operations with Hawaiian Airlines.

Alaska Air Group plans to grow profit by $1 billion and expand routes to other corners of the world, the company revealed Tuesday.

Alaska Air and Hawaiian Airlines have announced a new global gateway at Seattle, with non-stop flights to Tokyo and Seoul in 2025, as well as a combined schedule for flights between the U.S. and Hawaii.
