Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett shocked the NFL when he requested a trade. The Browns drafted Garrett with the first overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft and he has remained a leader on their defense.

As ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted, it cost the Chicago Bears two first-rounders, a third and a sixth for Khalil Mack. So perhaps two firsts isn’t out of the question for a franchise that needs all the future picks it can get.

For the Browns, trading Garrett would be a major challenge on many fronts. Ultimately, however, it might be the best thing for them.
