Multiple fire crews were called just after 6:30 a.m. to the former G&G Grocery building at 861 Buss Avenue. Investigators say heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from the building.

The building was transformed into the G&B Cultural Center 15 years ago as “a venue that supports anybody that wants to be creative,” Hegnauer said.
