Two juveniles are in custody after a security guard was fatally shot late Friday at a CVS Pharmacy in downtown Dallas, according to police. "Their names will not be released due to their age," Dallas police said Saturday in a news release.

Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting at a CVS location downtown on Friday evening, officials said. Police were called shortly after 11 p.m. to the 1400 block of Main Street, where officers found a person had been shot at the location, police say.

The incident happened just after 11 p.m. when the guard confronted two shoplifters at the CVS on Main Street, according to Dallas police. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and opened fire before both ran away from the scene.
