A multicar crash collected several contenders at Lap 99 of Sunday\"s Shriners Children\"s 500 at Phoenix Raceway. Joe Gibbs Racing\"s Chase Briscoe collided with Justin Haley exiting Turn 2 while running four-wide on the heels of a Stage 2 restart.

Justin Haley and Carson Hocevar both wound up with DNFs while Michael McDowell is currently multiple laps down.

Haley ran the last seven races of the 2024 Cup Series season in the No. 7, swapping rides with Corey LaJoie. One advantage Haley has against the rest of the field is a Championship-winning crew chief in Rodney Childers. Childers takes the reins looking to add to his total of 40 wins and a 2014 championship.
