Santi Aldama scored a career-high 29 points and the Memphis Grizzlies rolled to a 140-112 victory over San Antonio on Friday night, handing the Spurs their largest losing margin of the season even with Ja Morant sidelined by a foot injury.
Aldama and the Grizzlies had a strong third quarter to turn the game into a blowout. Aldama eclipsed his previous career high of 28 points in the fourth quarter. Edey took a shot to the face in the first half and was later ruled out with a nose injury.
The Grizzlies came into the game with some extra motivation after the defeat they were dealt the last time these two teams faced off. We'll see if they're able to flip the script or if it'll just be more of the same.
