Roots co-founder Questlove is back at Sundance after winning an Oscar for Summer Of Soul, this time the musician is looking at Sly Stone to see today.

The celebration of SNL’s 50th anniversary continues with a look at their iconic music performances in a feature doc directed by Questlove.

Former Saturday Night Live cast member and current The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon will emcee. Additional acts will be announced.

SNL50: The Homecoming Concert' happens 2/14 at Radio City Music Hall; performers also include Bonnie Raitt, Chris Martin, The B-52s, The Backstreet Boys, Brittany Howard, Brandi Carlile, and lots more.

“SNL” executive producer Lorne Michaels pitched Questlove on a documentary about the show's music in early 2021, shortly after Questlove won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance for his documentary “Summer of Soul” (which also would nab an Oscar that year).

Questlove's documentary, Ladies & Gentlemen... 50 Years of SNL Music, highlights the show's most iconic musical performances and comedy sketches — and addresses the show's "unhummable" theme song.
