The Missoula Police Department reports it's believed that missing woman Danit Ehrlich drowned in the Clark Fork River.

Dannit Ehrlich and her dog Bamba were last seen a week ago at a park in Missoula and are presumed drowned in a river.

Police determined Ehrlich and her dog, Bamba, likely drowned, but are continuing their recovery efforts as of Feb. 24.

Parks and Recreation staff told the Missoulian that temporary signs at Jacobs Island Dog Park will be replaced with more permanent signs in the future.

On Saturday, a vigil was held at the Van Buren Street footbridge.The community honored Danit Erhlich and her dog, Bamba, who was reported missing last Saturday.
