Dan Campbell certainly respects the Minnesota Vikings, even after his Detroit Lions walloped them 31-9 to win the No. 1 seed and the NFC North title on Sunday night.

Campbell revealed to O'Connell that he expects the Lions and Vikings to meet again in the divisional round. "Good job, great season. I'll see you in two weeks," Campbell told the Coach of the Year contender in a brief interaction after the final whistle sounded on Sunday night.

He was prescient. Because the Detroit Lions did indeed motivate the Los Angeles Rams to beat the Minnesota Vikings, all because he told Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell “I’ll see you in two weeks” after their Week 18 game. That meant Campbell assumed the Vikings would beat the Rams.
