Eddie Fisher, the right-hander whose 15-year major-league career included an All-Star selection for the Chicago White Sox and a World Series title with the Baltimore Orioles, has died. He was 88.

The White Sox went 41-121 in 2024, breaking the Modern Era loss record of 120 set by the Mets in 1962, their inaugural season in Major League Baseball. And the White Sox roster didn’t get much better this offseason.
