As countries all around the world hope to be amongst the 48 nations participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the final spots in the tournament field are being filled.

Six teams from the Caribbean, South America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania will compete for two spots via the inter-confederation playoff, while 16 teams from Europe will compete in their own playoff for the final four UEFA spots in the tournament. The inter-confederation playoff draw took place first, followed by the UEFA playoff draw.
