Heavy rains triggered by tropical storm Wipha have caused severe flooding in the central Vietnamese province of Nghe An, killing at least three people and leaving one more missing.

Tropical Storm Wipha made landfall in northern Vietnam Tuesday, bringing heavy rain and strong winds that knocked out power in parts of Hung Yen Province.

Tropical Storm Wipha made a second landfall in Vietnam on Tuesday, after lashing China earlier, bringing torrential rain and strong winds as authorities rushed to evacuate low-lying areas and warned of possible floods and landslides.
