Additional strengthening is expected during the next couple of days as the storm moves parallel to the coast of southwestern Mexico.

Barbara became a remnant low on Tuesday night and Cosme continues to weaken in the East Pacific as it moves over much cooler water. Behind this storm, the next area to watch is getting closer to becoming the next tropical depression and is expected to eventually become Dalila.
