Jaden McDaniels converted a three-point play with 39.5 seconds left for the lead and stole the ensuing inbounds pass from LeBron James, leading a rally by the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 116-113 win over the Los Angeles Lakers that put them up 3-1 in the first-round series on Sunday.

James finished the game with 27 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. The NBA's all-time leading scorer had help from his co-star Luka Doncic who added a team-high 38 points. Ultimately, his 18 free throw attempts were not enough for the Lakers to pull off a road victory, as they now trail 3-1.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers matched up for Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs, Western Conference, first round on Sunday in Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
