Boeing retracts its proposal to alter machinist work schedules in its new contract offer, which will be voted on by union members this Sunday morning.

Boeing made a new offer Thursday to the local machinists union, with a strike just days away. There’s no change to the 20% pay increase over the four-year contract, but this new offer does remove a controversial work schedule change and adds a 50-cent per hour pay increase to those at the top of the scale with good attendance.
