Poll shows Hochul’s approval stagnant despite support for key proposals
Among those surveyed, 57% indicated they would prefer a different governor in 2026, compared to just 31% willing to vote for Hochul’s re-election. A majority of respondents, 52%, believe the state’s fiscal condition has not improved over the past year, with only 22% seeing signs of progress.
