Virginia State Police (VSP) said a 27-year-old died after a Franklin County crash on Sunday. VSP said they are investigating a single-vehicle crash, which resulted in a fatality. The crash occurred on Sunday at 5:25 p.

The crash occurred at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Alabama 19 near the 31 mile marker, approximately two miles north of Vina, in Franklin County. Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division troopers are still investigating the crash.

The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency informed the public at 4:22 p.m. on December 13, about the incident. County officials said the crash happened in the area of Highway 149 and Jackanicz Road near West Frankfort. Authorities said injuries were reported with the crash.
