Dwayne Johnson is taking a turn into the dramatic in the new A24 drama "The Smashing Machine," and the first trailer for the film shows the blockbuster movie star conjuring a performance of a very different sort.

The upcoming A24 biographical drama film “The Smashing Machine” takes its title from the 2002 HBO documentary of the same name, which chronicled the rise and struggles of UFC legend and MMA pioneer Mark Kerr.
