If there's a potential spoiler option, Dart could be gaining steam for New Orleans' decision-makers. The MMQB's Albert Breer said on Wednesday that the Saints have done a "ton of work" on Dart but that they may try to draft him later and not necessarily with the ninth pick.

Breer highlighted the fact former Saints coach Dennis Allen was a large reason Carr was brought to New Orleans in 2023 and Oakland in 2014.
