Kentucky ’s Barion Brown, one of the top wide receivers in the transfer portal, has signed with the Tigers, according to a report from On3 Sports Saturday. He becomes the third incoming transfer for LSU in its 2025 class, joining cornerback Ja’Keem Jackson (Florida) and tight end Bauer Sharp (Oklahoma).

LSU needed transfer wide receivers after losing senior Kyren Lacy (exhausted eligibility) and senior CJ Daniels (transfer portal). The Tigers are only bringing back two wideouts, redshirt sophomore Aaron Anderson and junior Zavion Thomas, who had more than five catches during the regular season.

The LSU Tigers continue to be true to their words and build a competitive transfer portal class for 2025 and from early returns it appears they’re on track. This weekend, Brian Kelly and staff added a quarterback, edge rusher and explosive kick return specialist/wide receiver, dipping into the SEC for two of those products.

A former Georgia Tech wide receiver, Singleton told On3 that LSU is one of his top five schools. He is the No. 1 ranked transfer in the 2025 cycle, according to 247Sports and On3, and hasn’t set an announcement date for his commitment. In 2024, the sophomore receiver totaled 754 yards from 56 passes, along with 131 rushing yards.
