YouTube Music just put lyrics behind paywall
Digest more
YouTube is launching YouTube TV Plans this week, after revealing the program back in December. These are genre-specific subscription packages that let users opt into a curated version of the service and save a few bucks in the process.
YouTube Music is locking full lyrics behind Premium, limiting free users to five views and betting fans will pay up to keep singing along.
Similar to the Prompted Playlists that Spotify launched in December, YouTube Music premium subscribers on iOS and Android can now use voice or text descriptions to turn ideas, genres, or vibes into personalized playlists.
Amongst all the different streaming platforms, YouTube TV lets you watch Live sports events and watch over 100 different major channels, including CBS and TNT.
