Kentucky’s offense finally woke up against a Power Four and SEC team, blowing out Mississippi State 92-68. The Wildcats shot 55.2% from the floor, including 9/22 from 3-point range. The Wildcats had 21 assists to just nine turnovers. They scored 19 fastbreak points, 54 points in the paint, and had 35 points off the bench.

Kamario Taylor made his MSU second start at quarterback, but MSU struggled to block Wake Forest, especially in the run game. MSU kicked three field goals in the first half and had no touchdowns. The Demon Deacons also returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.

OXFORD — Ole Miss women’s basketball beat Mississippi State in a lopsided, wire-to-wire win. The No. 17 Rebels (16-3, 3-1 SEC) took care of MSU 93-68 at SJB Pavilion on Jan. 11. It’s their fourth consecutive win against the Bulldogs (14-4, 1-3) and their first 20-point win in the rivalry since 1997.
