Israel said on Monday it hit a petrochemical plant in Iran's southwest, along with strikes elsewhere on military targets, after U. President Donald Trump reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to refrain from further attacks.

The reported incident comes as President Donald Trump has recently put pressure on Iran to make a deal.

After a string of reports this week that Iran was shutting down talks, Trump said he "couldn't care less” if the negotiations had stalled and even mused they had become “boring.”
